0 Fourth book in the Inheritance cycle - Inheritance

Christopher Paolini launched the fourth and the final book in the inheritance cycle after an excruciatingly painful wait. The authors are following a trend of writing very long novels that just dont seem to finish! This book is no different. The book is indeed long, but nowhere do you feel lost out, there isn't much stagnation in the story, and the author keeps your rapt attention throughout the book. This isnt one of those sequels which are independent of thier prequels, you have to read the previous three novels- Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr - to fully understand the book.

The book starts off exactly where Brisingr left it. The Vardens armies have defeated many of the cities of the Empire, but still Galbatorix is unperturbed, which comes as no surprise because the King knows that his knowlege and sttrength, and that of the eldunaris is undefeatable. Even Eragon is not sure that if they even reach the gates of Urubaen, they stand no chance of defeating the king. Then eragon remembers the advice given by Solembum, he searches and searches the rock of Kuthian but cannot find any reference to the rock. But something miraculous happens and they find the Rock, it gives them much power and knowledge (In the form of something i might not reveal now!). By now the armies have reached Urubaen and wait for Eragon to return to lay siege to the city. Eragon does return, he does enter the palace, he does meet Galbatorix( Who has unlocked a power so potent that no magic would work against it, he can control his magic and that of thiers by only one word), and Galbatorix does capture Eragon and Saphira. They are helpless, all hope as been lost, Nasuada has been captured and the Varden's armies will fight in vain, unless someone figures out a way to slay Galbatorix. Either kill Galbatorix be doomed to live a life of misery, this is the choice that the leaders face. Will they succeed in this frightenigly enormous endeavor? Read Inheritance to find out!

In my opinion, a must read for all the Narnia, Harry Potter fans!
